Join us for a candlelit evening of readings, carols and music at the service of Nine Lessons and Carols at St Peter’s Church, Carmarthen, on Thursday, December 19th .
The seasonal service tells the full story of Christmas in words and music and will be held at the beautiful town church at 7pm. The music will be led by the Local Ministry Area choir.

Additional singers are welcome to join the LMA choir for this glorious event. Please let Glynis Morris, the Director of Music at St Peter’s, know before December 5th if you would like to sing. Contact Glynis on (lmachoir1@gmail.co.uk). Admission to St Peter’s Nine Lessons and Carols is free for all.

Rehearsals will be held at St Peter’s Church on Monday December 9th and 16th and Friday December 13th between 6.15-7.15pm. There will also be a short final rehearsal immediately before the service at 6.20pm on the evening of December 19th.
The choral celebration of Nine Lessons and Carols follows the enormous success of the recent liturgical performance of the Fauré Requiem at the All Souls service at St Peter’s Church in November.
Join us also for St Peter’s traditional Midnight Mass service on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24th at 11.30pm. There will be an 8am Holy Communion service on Christmas Morning.
